The Pavia Rectal Temp Short Flex Tip Thermometer takes an accurate temp in just 6 seconds. The difference between this model and the Pavia Rectal Temp is that the probe is about half the length and it is made of rubber so it is flexible and more comfortable for the pet. It is for use on small animals only. Pavia Probe Covers are required for this product as the probe is porous and cannot be sterilized properly by just wiping it down. Also, cleaning products will break down the probe.
